    Comments and Recommended Action
    Windows XP users running Java 1.4.2 may experience the above exception due to a bug in the Sun Java 1.4.2 JFileChooser code. The error happens in approximately 2% of the cases, and restarting the application will normally resolve the issue.

    To permanently fix this problem on your computer:

    • Download the latest version of our software (recommended)

    Comments and Recommended Action
    There is a bug in Sun Java 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0-b64) causing the software to crash. This bug has been reported to us on Windows XP, running java version "1.5.0" (build 1.5.0-b64).

    To fix this problem on your computer:

    • Download the latest version of our software (recommended)
    • Or, Install a newer version of java (build 1.5.0_01 or later)

    WARNING: If you originally ran this software under Windows from the start menu then the program may still be running in the background and this could lead to a file lock. This will prevent you from uninstalling the software and prevent you from installing a newer version. Please refer to the help topic Problems deleting installed files - "Cannot delete [file]: It is being used by another person or program" for details on how to identify and fix this problem.

    There is a bug in Sun Java causing the software to crash when the software is run with Windows XP with a modified Theme. This bug has been reported to us on Windows XP with a modified Theme, running java version "1.5.0" (build 1.5.0_06)
